TALISMANS

The Talismans start with a sketch done by analog means while sitting in front of a video or while enduring a meeting. The selected sketch is then cleaned-up and configured for construction using digital tools.A digital chip is integral to the design and purpose of the talisman and, combined with sterling (for preciousness) and Mammoth ivory(as a harbinger of extinction), alludes to the function of the talisman. After the construction of the brooch or pendant, I imagine and create a wall display to transform the object into "Art" for all to see. My ultimate goal is to create 15 more talismans for an exhibition, somewhere!
